Ring in the holidays this Christmas Eve with a very special Thursday Night Kirtan. Thanks to so many of you it has been a wonderful year of devotion at The Bhakti Center, and as the year 2015 winds down we would love to come together with friends during the holidays in the best way possible – joining voices and hearts in kirtan. There will be special guests as well as in-house favorites leading and lots of holiday prasadam snacks will be served at the end.

Kirtan is a form of devotional chanting with roots going back many centuries in India. It is a primary practice on the path of Bhakti Yoga. The singing is accompanied by musical instruments and rhythmic drumming and the audience is encouraged to participate by chanting, clapping and dancing. In its heartfelt expression kirtan can induce profound states of meditation and bliss.
